The Director's Club is an initiative that promotes employment in the North of England and offers a FREE
employment service to local employers in exchange for giving them, a) information about relevant funding for recruiting and/or
training, and b) promoting members businesses to each other to stimulate the local economy.
All we ask of members is that in return for supplying relevant funding information, they will at least give us the opportunity
to source staff when vacancies arise. These positions can be part or full time vacancies, preferably long term.
A full support network is also available to members who use this FREE service with seeking
out the right candidate for the position and offering any funding towards recruiting and/or training that may be required.
We also offer advice on any training grants for your existing employees or senior management and you are able to source
the local training provider of your choice.
The area of funding is so diverse that we are pleased to offer a free consultancy service where a member of our
funding team will visit you to discuss your requirements, remember there is no charge for this service, simply send an email
to; grants@directorsclub.org.uk
Please help our initiative by contacting us when any job opportunity arises, you may even want to find out more information
of hiring people using the Slivers of Time project. Remember, the Director's Club is not a recruitment agency and you will not be charged for this service.

| A free seminar for business leaders |
The above photograph show 200 business leaders attending a FREE forum and being addresses by Paul Tinsley representing
NW Learning & Skills Council.
The importance of being able to obtain information that will have a profound difference to local business is paramount.
It is for this reason that we offer members the opportunity to attend these free seminars and gain this information directly
from its source.
The 200 business leaders also had the opportunity to ask questions from the panel that included representatives from
Business Link, DWP, LSC, Weston Spirit Trading and local Job Brokers. Following the afterrnoon seminar an
opportunity to meet and network with other delegates.

The Director's Club encourage and welcome business leaders in Northern England to engage with our
initiative to promote employment. We offer a free signposting service to any organsation that offers practical and/or financial
assistance to local businesses in the hope that this will asssist them to be more sustainable.
We also look to stimulate the Northern economy by the above and by encouraging networking events. This in turn,
hopefully, will lead to the creation of more jobs in the North.
Employment opportunities will only be increased with the support of our members, the employers,
who will increase staffing levels with the assistance from central and local government. Working in partnership and importantly
listening to employers is the best way forward to reduce unemployment and create opportunity.
The Director's Club believe that many partners working together can reduce unemployment, however the key to
this partnership is the employers and it is for this reason why we concentrate on Employer Engagement
If you are an organisation that can benefit from our services, the ability to be able, via electronic mail,
to communicate with 20,000+ decision makers, please contact us.

| Grants for Biz |
From one fund alone, recently, £80 million, that was available to local business leaders was
returned to Brussels, was it because businesses did not need it?, or because they didn't know about it?
